Conductor Rail Layout & Installation

Most rail systems mount Conglin’s conductor rails on sleeper ends, with central rail options for specialized configurations. Our rails feature a precision-extruded aluminum core, 2-3mm 316L stainless steel contact cap, ≥60% IACS conductivity, ≤0.1mm/year wear rate, and 35kg/m lightweight design—ensuring stable installation and long-term reliability.

Insulator & Bracket Support: Precision Engineering & Reliability

Conglin’s conductor rails are supported by high-performance ceramic insulators (commonly referred to as "pots") with a dielectric strength of ≥25kV/mm and volume resistivity ≥10¹ Ω·cm, or insulated brackets for bottom-contact configurations. These supports are strategically spaced at 3.0 meters (10 feet) intervals—industry-standard spacing—to ensure uniform load distribution, minimize rail deflection (≤2mm under full load), and maintain consistent contact with train collector shoes for uninterrupted power transmission.
