Customized Lightweight Aluminum Truck Components
What is Automotive Lightweighting? Automotive lightweighting focuses on reducing a vehicle’s curb weight and cargo compartment weight as much as possible—without sacrificing its structural strength or safety. The main goal is to enhance the vehicle’s power performance and reduce fuel consumption, which are two top priorities for automotive manufacturers around the world.

Aluminum Truck Body Extrusions: Solutions for Truck & RV Bodies
As a professional aluminum extrusion manufacturer, Conglin Aluminum provides high-quality aluminum truck body extrusions, aluminum coils for truck trailer roofs, and customized aluminum solutions for truck and RV manufacturing. Our products are widely applied in the transportation industry, leveraging aluminum’s unique advantages to deliver practical value for our clients.
Application Scenarios & Core Value
Our aluminum extrusions and aluminum coils are mainly used in truck trailer bodies and RVs (travel trailers), bringing significant economic and social benefits to the logistics and transportation industry. The primary reason for choosing aluminum in these applications is its lightweight property—reducing the vehicle’s overall weight not only improves fuel efficiency but also enhances operational performance, while ensuring the structural stability and safety required for long-term use.
For RVs, aluminum’s lightweight feature also improves usability and maneuverability for travel scenarios.
Product Specifications & Structural Details
We offer a full range of aluminum products for truck trailer bodies, including aluminum extrusions and aluminum coils, with detailed specifications and structural design tailored to industry needs:
Semi-Trailer Body Panels & Extruded Columns:
We use 5052 aluminum alloy for semi-trailer body side panels and inner panels, with a standard thickness of 4-5mm. The body structure combines aluminum alloy plates and extruded aluminum profiles—where the extruded profiles serve as main support columns, featuring a thicker middle section and integrated flanges. The flange thickness matches the aluminum alloy plates to ensure tight connections; the plate joints are aligned with stiffeners, and the upper/lower edges of the plates are supported by the flanges on the upper and lower beams of the aluminum profiles, ensuring overall structural stability.
Aluminum Coil for Truck Trailer Roof:
Alloy: 3003, 3105; Temper: H22; Thickness: 0.5--1.0mm;
Surface: Mill finish, white wash; Width: ≥1500mm (maximum 2650mm).
This prepainted aluminum coil is designed to resist harsh field weather erosion, reduce semi-trailer weight, and extend service life.
Aluminum Extrusions for Truck Trailer Bodies:
Alloy: 6061, 6082, 6063, 6005A, 7005;
Temper: T5, T6.
These aluminum alloys are widely recognized in the logistics and transportation industry for their low density, lightweight
Core Advantages of Our Aluminum Truck Body Products
Our aluminum truck body extrusions and supporting products stand out in the industry with three key advantages, closely aligned with market and
High Strength & Light Weight:
Crafted from high-strength aluminum alloy profiles, our products can reduce vehicle weight by over 34% while maintaining excellent structural strength, achieving obvious energy conservation and emission reduction effects.
Durable & Wear-Resistant:
The longitudinal beams of our truck body extrusions adopt one-time extrusion forming, ensuring high overall strength. We add anti-wear plates on the upper part of the longitudinal beams to prevent wear during long-term use, effectively extending the service life of the components.
Weather & Corrosion Resistant:
The prepainted aluminum coils used for truck trailer roofs are specially treated to resist erosion from harsh outdoor conditions, while the corrosion-resistant properties of our aluminum extrusions ensure long-term stable use even in complex environments.
