Thermal & Acoustic Insulation Glass Profile Project
Triple-layer insulating glass delivers far better thermal insulation and soundproof performance than conventional double-layer glass. In terms of heat insulation, the heat transfer coefficient of double-layer glass is around 2.8, while triple-layer glass drops to 1.8, cutting heat loss by about 35% and improving overall insulation performance by 28% based on an 80% glass area ratio. Acoustic insulation is also upgraded by 1 to 2 decibels. Besides insulating glass, laminated glass features a sandwiched PVC film between two glass panes. It enhances structural safety and seismic resistance while offering outstanding sound absorption and noise isolation, making it a widely favored soundproof glass solution. Our customized aluminum profiles perfectly match the installation demands of both triple insulating glass and laminated soundproof glass, delivering reliable airtightness, stable structural support and excellent energy-saving performance for architectural and rail transit applications.
