Aluminum profile processing technology and surface treatment process

The processing technology of aluminum profile mainly consists of three processes: aluminum bar casting, extrusion aging and surface treatment. The whole batch production process takes about 3-4 days to complete, and then transported to the aluminum profile processing plant. It usually takes 7-10 days. The whole aluminum profile is processed to the factory, and the general profile factory promises about 15 days. Processing is the key path of aluminum alloy doors and Windows, need to pay attention to the manufacturer's order time.
The processing technology of aluminum profile is as follows:
Aluminum alloy profiles are divided into industrial aluminum and civil aluminum. Different uses of aluminum alloy composition (alloy brand) is different. Before extrusion, alloy aluminum rods suitable for use should be fused and cast. Aluminum alloy doors and Windows generally choose 6063T5, 6063T6(6063T6 than 6063T5 hardness is high, general aluminum alloy doors and Windows choose 6063T5 can meet the requirements).
The specific aluminum rod casting process is as follows: A. Purchase pure aluminum ingot. B. Alloy casting: the pure aluminum ingot is melted in the furnace, and then other alloy components are added, poured into the grinding wheel for cooling and forming, forming the alloy aluminum bar to be extruded.
Profile extrusion and aging: after the aluminum bar is formed, it can be sent to profile extrusion line. The profile extruder will heat the aluminum bar to the right temperature and then send it to the extrusion mouth for extrusion. Profiles of different sections can be extruded by different moulds. Just extruded profiles have no strength, need to be sent to the aging furnace for 4~8 hours of aging, increase strength.
When the profile is formed with a certain strength, surface treatment can be carried out. The principles of powder spraying and carbon spraying are basically the same among the four surface treatment methods. The basic principles of anodic oxidation and electrophoresis are the same. Pretreatment is required before all surface treatments. Pretreatment function: remove dust, dirt, grease and fingerprint in extrusion process. And exposed to pure metal matrix.
Powder spraying and carbon spraying: profile and spray gun to form positive and negative poles, forming electrostatic high voltage electric field in the poles, coating particles charged, under the action of the electric field in the profile surface to form a uniform paint film, baking curing. The difference between powder spraying and carbon spraying is that powder spraying is powder particles, and carbon spraying is a kind of paint. In addition to sending to the testing institute to detect the paint film thickness, if conditions permit, you can also use the hand-held film thickness detection line for detection, or use vernier calipers for rough detection (taking powder spraying as an example: the thickness of general window profiles is 1.4mm, the thickness of the film is 0.04~0.12mm, and the thickness of the on-site profiles should be between 1.44~1.52mm).
